What If?

Jeng jeng jeng!

17th medal, just 3 more to reach this year's target!

(Updated 12th August) - It's a matter of simple strategy really. Since that so many runners would be going for the Shape & Men's Health Night Run on 31st July, what are my chances of securing a position of top 75 among 3000 people in order to win a finishing medal? Very slim right?

That is why I gambled by opting to go for the KLIUC Unity Run instead during the next day, assuming that not many runners especially experienced ones would be participating in this event. And the picture above is the result of the risk I've taken ~

I shed tears, blood, & sweat just for this moment

Like what Michelle Soh posted on her Facebook Wall, "I love my life now. I want it this way. I love it this way". This year in 2010, God has blessed my life so much in abundance until I couldn't contain the blessings! Indeed, I am happy the way my life is at the moment. But if the best is yet to come, then I say bring it on! (:

I love the house of God (:

What will happen, if let's say I am not a member of City Harvest Church? What if I never get to know who Jesus was? What if I am still a free-thinker today? What if I never get to know awesome people like my cell group members? What will the outcome be, if I am not a Christian in the first place? It's scary to think right that such a simple & yet important decision to follow Christ the Lord could become such a life changing experience!

There won't be anymore competitive runs this August, but there is the...

Organised by my company! ;D

Yeah, it's good that we can achieve something for ourselves. But once in awhile, we should also use our gifts & talents to contribute back to society. And no, you don't have to wait until your earn your first million dollars or that dream job you've been yearning for years. You can start doing something meaningful today!

This time, I am not running for any prizes whatsoever. Instead, I am doing it to raise funds so that patients with kidney conditions will have sufficient medical expenses to undergo the treatment they needed. Not for recognition or glory, but to give these people hope so that they too like me can have a second chance in life. What about you? Do you have compassion for the needy & unfortunate? If the answer is yes, then show it!
